Finestra is without certainly one of the most spectacular places I have visited. Not only because of its small core , articulated around a plaza and its unique street, if not by their environment. Finestra against we Canelles reservoir dominated by an impressive rock formation consisting of two giant mallets parallel familiarly called "The Great Wall of China in Finestra ( photo 5), within the wall we can see the hermitage of San Vicente ( Romance , Siglo XI ). The village is in ruins and is a daring to enter the houses. The church (XVII century ) as the rest of the town is almost collapsed, the roof is on the floor and the belfry has lost one eye (photo 4). During our visit we were lucky to match the owner of the house only still open to their owners come two months a year (in summer) and some weekend for the rest of the year to make some family meal, and that early-morning we had a nice chat. The access road is long and tortuous, from Tin (4x4), about 12 miles , but nevertheless is a place worth visiting.
